I know it probably depends on her age and height when she gets her period so here are the stats:
got it age thirteen, 3 mos. before 14th birthday
was 5' 4'' at the time
has a small frame
has large feet (indicating more height…?)
however, most of the women in her family are short or avg. height
Answer:
Most girls in the western world complete their growth before boys do, usually by 16 or 17. A lot of growth can still happen after a girl has her period. “Race”(or whatever you want to call it) also seems to be a factor, with blacks usually going through puberty and completing it earlier compared to whites.
There really isn't any reason why this girl's height shouldn't be within the same height range as the rest of her family(due to shared genes). 5'4″ is a perfectly good height for an adult woman; in the U.S and Europe, 5'4″ to 5'6″ is considered average for women.
Answer:
It differs from girl to girl. Genetics does play a role in it, though. But generally girls grow height-wise for up to three years after they get their first period (again, a generalization). There isn't really any way you can tell for sure how tall you’ll be.
