Girls Help Only Please!?

Author: admin

Well, for the past few days 'down south' has been itching really badly. I've been on my period but this day it is semi-gone. It also sorta smells. I think it might be a yeast infection because (I have asthma) asthma can cause them. What should I do because I don't want to speak to my mom about it and I don't know what I should say or do. What would you do in my eyes?

Answer:
First off, do NOT take any of the counter medications or douche.

Wear cotton only underwear, drink some cranberry juice and enjoy it or not… tell your mom to make a doctors appointment for you. You won't know what it is until a urine sample and some swabs are done.

And don't worry about it, your mother has had female problems too… she knows they happen.

* Kiddo, if your mom is a nurse then you have less to worry about… because she is educated! If you ignore it, it can and will worsen and cause you more problems. Its not the end of the world…. female things happen and she knows that.

Answer:
The ideal thing is to speak to your mother and get to the doctor ASAP. It could be just a yeast infection or it could be something worse that requires medication from the physician.

There are over the counter medications you can purchase to treat a yeast infection, but it's always ideal to be checked out by a professional.

You shouldn't be embarrassed to talk to your mother cause I'm sure she's probably had a yeast infection at one time in her life.

Answer:
Aww, why don't you want to talk to Mother? Well, I guess I didn't either. You must find some intelligent adult female to discuss growing up.

It could be yeast or anything else. While deciding who to talk to, take a bath with baking in the water, and that may help. As gross as this may sound, and as much as you may want to, don't douche; it kills good bacteria.

Call a health hotline. 1800-622-9529 is Ask a Nurse. I'm sure they have more accurate info than I, and it's 24 hours–call now :)

Oh, and when you're not on your cycle, sleep a few nights a week without underwear; it does need to “breathe.” My college professor (female) taught me this. I wish mom had….

Answer:
Learn to talk to your mom now…it will make your life so much easier than trying to find things out by yourself - or on this website! No one cares about you like your mom - she won't steer you wrong. Yeast infections can be cured easily but you need to see a doctor to be sure that's what it is. Or purchase some over the counter medicine.

Answer:
go to the doctor on your own. if it is serious then tell your mom but if not then don't get yourself in trouble. it's better to speak to a physician because they know way more than your mother. it's probably nothing. i hope it's not.

Answer:
Either go to your GP or ask the pharamacist for an over the counter cream or pessery to clear it up if you’re sure it is thrush.

Answer:
aww just i guess go to the physician or do good hygeine and like wash it “down there in the south” so it might get superior down there!

Answer:
I would talk to my mother. She’ll know what to do, she is a woman too after all =) good luck xox

Answer:
Purchase Monistat, and see if it works. If not, then get to a physician.

Answer:
go to a free clinic or break down and speak to your mom because it might not be that bad….but some way get it checked out

Answer:
wash it
