My labia hurts during my period?

in addition to cramps, i have this dull ache on my labia, as if they were bruised or something. why does this happen?

Pretty sure it has to do with the increased blood circulation to the area. Most women experience an increase in sensitivity.

I get that too think its from doing kegels unconsciously(like your trying to hold it in) because I noticed myself doing them when the pain was bad
