I am talking about a yeast infection of the skin….in your private area, but on the skin, like in the area where is creases where your leg comes together. I have dry skin and it itches and kind of hurts. Anyone have any idea what it might be…if you don't think you have an idea please don't answer. Thank you.

It is called intertrigo.
You get it under arms, in belly folds , under breasts, in groins and anywhere warm and moist.
You must get Daktarin cream or Canesten thrush cream from the chemist.
Wash all the affected areas thoroughly and dry well.
Apply cream night and morning after washing.
Keep a separate wash-cloth and towel for those areas as it might spread.
Even after you think it has cleared, up carry on with the cream for a few days.
If it reappears you treat it as above.

It could be jock itch. Go to a pharmacy to the women's section where you would buy Monistat. I would buy cream for the itch and the pain, one called Vagisil especially for that. It won't say jock itch though, just vaginal itch. Put it on the outside and it should be better in like 3 days. I had something similar and it was itchy and very painful. I bought that, it burns when you put it on but by the third day it was pretty much gone. It's cheap too!

use lotion for dry skin. if you are sure that it's a fungal infection, apply lotrimin cream to the area (but not your genitals!)
