Answer:
Personally I would wait a while to ensure that the bc pill is protecting you. If you use condoms for the 7 days after your periods starts this would be better. Read the instructions inside your packet of pills, t will tell you when you are going to be protected.

Answer:
If you start taking the pills on the first day of your period and do not have sex until your off your period, then yes you should be fine. I would not risk it by having sex during your period though.

Answer:
You are not protected by pregnancy until 2-3 weeks after first starting the pill. You will need to use a condom for that allotted time. And you are never ever protected from getting std's so use a condom all of time regardless.
