Hi i'm 13 and im a bit stressed out i'm home schooled and i attend connections academy but i've been having lots of work and i'm a bit stressed out can you give me some tips on how to relax a bit. because i really feel like quitting school and i don't really want to because its not right please help me!

well what makes you rest? i usually listen to music to help me with homework. i am 12 and so far it seems to have really helped. also, try taking little breaks inbetween so u dont run urself ragged. doing homework ahead of time mite also help or doing a little bit everyday of a huge assignment. on the weekends try to get a lot of sleep and mayb try a massage or something you really like to reward yourself

Smoke marijuana, well perhaps when you're a tiny older. As a college student who attends a top university I’ve a ton of stress from class, extra curriculars, etc. However, after I've completed my work I like to smoke a bit to relax and calm down from my usual busy life. Believe or not since I've tried this method of relaxing my GPA has gone up dramatically (almost two whole grade points, I did terrible my first year) from my freshman year to sophomore. Although you may be too young now (although I did know people who had tried it at your age), keep this in mind for high school and college. It's the only drug that I do because it is non-addictive and is VERY calming and relaxing.

Explain to your parents and instructors that you honestly can't handle the level of work. Falling behind if totally natural. Nearly failing and wanting to drop out, can be common. Just don't over work yourself. Its all i can say. :/ I've wanted to drop out before. I'm in grade 10 and gunna fail 1 or 2 courses. And i don't do any homework or nothing.. because it over works my brain and i find it useless. I go to public school tho. So im assuming it VERY different. ): Just make sure someone knows how stressed you care about this!

EDIT: And im consistently listening to music. It calms me down the most. It helped me calm down through depression last year a bit. (:

Listen to music or hang out with animals, it always calms me down.(I have an average of 1 1/2 hours of homework a night!)
