ok so i`ve been smoking for a week now,maybe like 3 cigarettes every couple of days,i`m not so attached to it though,but i woke up this morning and my throat hurts like hell!and i feel as if there`s mucus stuck in it!it`s really disturbing,how can i get rid of it without seeing a physician?i mean should i drink tea or something? would that do?

That mucus build up is the bodies defense system.Smoking causes the throat to dry out and it must stay moist,thus,mucus build up. Best answer is to stop smoking before its too late.My grandfathers smoking killed my grandmother because she ended up with the throat cancer instead of him.
