I started having seizures about a yr ago. At first I would only be unconscious a few minutes but now I have had a few that have left me unconscious for hrs. My physicians don't seem to think that its a medical problem though since they barely even see me for 5 min (changing docs). My husband is currently deployed and I don’t know anyone here. My friends said that I should get a medical id tag in case im out and something happens since I’m without family and friends here. The problem is I am not sure if I should get one since my physicians don’t seem to think its a problem since they cant explain why they are happening. If I do get one what do i put on it?

Answer:
It probably wouldnt be a bad idea to get one. The people that do have em make my job a lot easier. If you do decide on it make sure you include your name, what your medical condition is, any meds you are on, and any allergies you might have. The most convenient place is on your wrist. If you dont like how it looks there you can get one in a necklace form.
