II was cleaning out my ears with a cue tip and one got clogged up what to do? Is this normal? How long is it going to last?
Answer:
Go to a drugstore and look for some special drops that you put in your ear to soften the wax so that you can just pull it out really easily. If you can't find any, just use some mineral oil (baby oil)–put a few drops in your ear, you'll feel it “fizz” and it will soften the wax, so that you can remove it easily & maybe a few chunks will come out on their own.
Never use q-tips in your ears! They do more bad than good!

OK, this is a tiny weird maybe, but I've found that on the rare occasions when I've taken a nice long hot bath, if I lean back and put my head under water and tilt it back so the water totally fills my ear canal (sometimes helps if you tip your head from side to side too), that it really cleans my ears out after soaking for a while. You need to kind of reverse the process in bringing your head back up out of the water in order to drain the ears.
(In submerging, when you get to the point where you can really feel/hear that your ear canals are totally flooded, you are all set for your ear canal soak.)
Sometimes after a hot shower it feels good to kind of loosely roll up some toilet paper and insert it part way into the ear canal to suck out the moisture - this should also pull out some ear wax, or sleep with a cotten ball in your ear, thats what i did ;D
