whenever i bend my legs down like i'm doing a squat and i slowly rise up, i can hear this crackling sound my knees make when i rise up. is this sound the noise of my knee muscles? is it because i don't excercise those muscles enough? advice on what this could be would be appreciated. thank you
Answer:
If it isn't accompanied by pain or stiffness, its is probably your MCL (a ligament underneath your kneecap) which can make a popping or cracking sound when you lift weight if its not properly warmed up or stretched. You should try stretching, or see a doctor if any pain occurs.
Answer:
muscles dont crack. Im 15 and i already have arthritus in my knees due to crashes on my dirt bike. Not a good feeling, getting out of bed every morning and having to limp to the bathroom. lol. If it doesn't hurt, don't worry about it.
Answer:
It is usually air being released in the synovial fluid which is between your joints. It doesn't really mean any thing.
