5 months ago my doctor gave me 2 different pills that were not suppose to be taken together. I took them both everyday (together) for 6 weeks. When I went back to the doctors she asked me what I was doing taking those together. She also said I was lucky not to have a bleeding ulcer and told me to stop taking one of them. I told her that she was the one who put me on those! How else would I have gotten a script her in name!! lol. Anyways. Since then I have been experiencing terrible pains in my stomach after I drink soda, any kind of malt beverage (which isn't often b/c of the meds I am on) certain foods I eat also. It seems every time I eat with something with sugar or salt I have to go and lay down shortly after. I've never gone to the doctors to have my stomach looked at because I have no health insurance (my other doctors are covered by comp b/c I was injured at work). Is this something I should finally see the doctor about? Has anyone had anything like this happen before?
Answer:
Sounds loke an ulcer. See a different doctor and file a malpractice suit against the first. She has no business being in charge of anyone's health.
