can i get contact lense fitting after i got my exam for glasses?

so will they pay for it or not?

but i believe it pays for one or the other.

if you are getting glassed one year

you have to wait until the next year for the CL

Call Eye Med and ask who takes your plan. It is usuall a place like Wal mart vision. Then ask what it covers as far as glasses or contacts or both.

We see a lot of Eyemed patients where I work and its been my experience that every plan is different. Some plans make an allowance for the fitting; some don't. So you can either have your eye doctor look it up for you online (or they can call it in if they don't have internet access) or you can call your insurance company yourself and ask. It would be great if all of the plans were the same. It sure would make it easier on us folks who have to figure them out and calculate prices and submit for payment.
