Is hot water good for your eyes to refresh them?

my uncle told me warmish hot water is good for your eyes cuz it opens your veins and cleans the dust outta your eye..im jus wondering if it can pose a threat to ur eye or anything..and if its actually true and itz good for you? thxx

Washing out your eyes isn’t a good idea with any water.

Your tears are there for that and do a better job on their own.

Washing out the eyes with water disrupts the natural tears and increases chances of getting infections.

Water isn't sterile to start with…why put it in your eyes ?

cold or warm is better but i think hot might injured them a little.
