Why am I getting red/ itchy eyes wearing contact lenses for 14 hours ?

I’ve been wearing contact lenses for 5 years. Now all of a sudden I am getting red/ itchy eyes.
I wear the monthly disposable ones. I generally wear them for 12-14 hours a day. I never faced a problem before.
Any Recommendations?

You might have develop an allergy (lens material or contact lens solution), or your current lenses are not the usual one you wore.I think your current lenses might be tightly fitted. Go back and see your optometrist or your eye physician.
