How old were you when you got contacts?
I’m 11 1/2 and I want contacts so bad!
Answer:
I was 30 when I first starting using contacts. I only need correction in my left eye so I did not have a need for them until I was 30.
The youngest person I knew to get them was 10. Acuvue has a great website that explains the benefits of contact lenses for kids and teens. I advocate checking it out and asking your parents about it.

I was 16 before I got contacts, and the reason for that is was because your eyes don’t stop growing until you’re around 20! and even then they still grow, but at a slower rate.
Just listen to your Optometrist, he/she will know more.

Myself, I was 14 I think…I just did a contact lens training with a 12yr old yesterday and he was more than fine with it. It really depends on the person and how ready they’re…contacts are a medical device and should be treated as such.

i was 13 … its just a phase it'll go away after a while i wanted them really bad too .. when i got them i was excited for like about 2 months and after that i didn't care for them anymore
