I want Contacts?

Author: admin

Im 13 the guys state at school that if I get contacts They would “understand” my eyes. I think there saying my eyes are pretty so show them off? Also my mom probably wont get me any because Ive been begging and I want contacts because Im getting braces….Grrrrr! What do I do????????

Answer:
If you want contacts and are responsible enough to care for them, then ask your parents if you can get them. Braces are high-priced and cost may be an issue with your parents. The worst they can tell you is no.

I assume that you are probably nearsighted (have trouble seeing distance objects). I know several people who are mildly nearsighted who only wear their eyeglasses when needed. They will use them for driving, watching movies, or anything where good distance vision is required. They don’t use them for reading or using a personal. You might want to take into account doing something similar if you see well enough to do that. If you do not, then you should probably stick with your eyeglasses for a while.

You could tell her that you want to get contacts to sort of 'make up' for getting braces, if you know what I mean.

But I do agree with the first answerer. You might not like to hear it, but you really should be grateful for what you’ve!

Or you could persuade your mother to get you them if any of your other friends have them…or convince her that you’re responsible enough to deal with contacts, cause it's not that easy! (With taking them on and off and washing your hands properly etc..) But at the end your mom's only looking out for you, she doesn't want you to have anything that would cause you harm!

Don't worry i'm sure you'll get them one day! :)

I got them when i was 14…

Answer:
You deal with what your parents are generous enough to provide and stop being so demanding and selfish. There are people in far worse circumstances than your own.
