What contact brand do I purchase ?

So, I really would like to get contacts but first I would need to know about what brands to purchase, what are the good ones, the bad etc. soft lense, hard lense etc.

I really would like to get color contacts, the ones that change your eye color completely ! But what brand would I buy ?

p.s. i live in canada so the brands might be different :/

Don't worry, it's not really your decision.

When you go in to the doctor's, he'll ask what kind you want:

Colored contacts, daily disposable contacts, night & day contacts, or regular soft lenses.

When you pick one of those ^ he’ll pick a brand and kind FOR you.

Well first of all you should definitely get soft lenses. As for brands, I would suggest Acuvue Advance. I use Acuvue Oasys (If you have dry eyes definitely try the Oasys) I loved them both, they’re great contacts. The first brand I got were called Optix and I didn't like them because they dried out my eyes a lot and weren't comfortable.
