I just started wearing prescription reading glasses to help w/ my vision. I find that I can't NOT wear them now - whether reading, on the personal, or watching TV. They just make everything more clear.

Answer:
I couldn't agree more. But on the other hand, those glasses are making sure your eyesight doesn't worsen. If you weren't wearing glasses, your muscles would strain constantly.

Answer:
If you can see things in the distance clearly while wearing the reading glasses, you may have some latent hyperopia. Have you had an eye exam lately?

Apart from that, I read about a case where a prisoner began wearing stronger and stronger reading glasses because he was convinced that his sight was going, and he ended up reading with something like 4 lenses.

Answer:
Yes they can! I used to only wear my glasses for reading and driving, then I started to wear them more at work, and now if I don’t wear them, I get a headache or get dizzy. If they weren’t prescribed by your eye physician and you did not necessarily need then, your eyes can adjust to the lens strength and actually make them worse.

Answer:
