How do we dream? If I wanna have a vivid dream when I go to sleep is there something I have the ability to eat to help that?
Or is there anything else that can help me have vivid dreams?

Lucid dreaming is a good idea for you - You train yourself to be aware that you're dreaming, and after a while you can actually choose what you do in your dreams, even flying!!

btw, if you meant with “vivid dream” that you want a nightmare then I suggest you just eat a lot just before you go to sleep.

well when you dream whats happening is the pineal gland in the center of your brain (also known as the third eye) is pumping this chemical called DMT or Dmytheltryptomine (something like that) the only times your brain produces it is during rem sleep and moments before DEATH!! yeah joe roegan speaks about it. but basically nutrition wise yeah you could look it up in google. working out. and the other extreme is that theres a synthetic drug version of DMT which lasts 10 min and i heard it is one of the most TRIPPY experiences .like your literally stuck in your dreams man! cool stuff too bad its costly and ILLEGAL lol

I suggest ….
1) Make sure your room is very dark
2) Get deep under the covers and get comfortable
3) Think of something you like for example a guy and he is finally speaking to you after weeks of wishing he would and you plan out a conversation in your mind with pictures and its like a video playing in your head
4) Close your eyes and keep watching the video in your head and eventually you'll drift away and dream.
