My fiance is going up north to see his parents for Easter and he left at 7am. He won't be back until tomorrow afternoon/evening. I’m 6 months pregnant and unable to travel for hours in a vehicle, but I’m so scared to be home alone at night. I am not afraid of someone else breaking in to injured me, my big mean dog would never let that happen lol! I’m afraid of something going medically wrong with my pregnancy and my fiance not being here to help me…I know this is a bit ridiculous, but anxiety is nothing new to me. I’ve tried sleeping with the Television on, but nothing helps and I end up being awake all night worrying. This seems to be a new problem since I lived alone for over a year before I met my fiance and I never had any issues with being alone at night until I got pregnant…How do I stop this silly fear and get back to my usual self who relishes her alone time?
Answer:
You sound just like me when I was alone some in my eighth month! Even though it seems silly it is very real to you when you're experiencing that fear. Remind yourself that if anything really did happen you can always pick up the phone for help. You're obviously safe in your home. You're just feeling vulnerable because of your precious baby. It will all turn out wonderfully for you in the end. Don't let your emotions run away with you. And congrats.
Answer:
There is no need to be scared! I stay home all the time on my own. Do something to keep you busy (E.g. Read a book or watch a dvd) you will be fine, Text him when you have the chance. Or have a friend over!
Again you shall be finee!
