What anti psychotic have you had the most luck with?

I've been on risperdal for the past two years and its starting to not work as great as before. I would just like some suggestions on which AP's you've tried with the least amount of problems. Thanks.

i take risperdal and am having the same thing. losing effectivness. my doc kicked me up .25mg a day. doing superior but still not as good as when i first started. you should ask your doc or ask a pharmisists

add-wholly crap that's a high dose! how do you stay awake during the day!! i went from 1mg to 1.25mg and struggle to wake up each morning. you should go to webmd.com and look up some alternative meds and then speak to a doc or pharm. that's a really high dose so if you can take something in a lower dose and have a benefit, worth looking into. risperdal has serious warnings issued. cardio if i recall.

seroquil,really is the hand of god hahaha.
i only take limictal during the day but if i see any of my psychotic symptoms (voices,over anxiety) i take a 50mg and my god does it work.

SEROQUEL is the Hand of God. Most effective drug EVAR! I have had tremendous amounts of success with it.
