Help my marriage!!!?

I am married to my best friend but the past few years our “intimate” relationship has extinguished. We are going through a separation but want to try. We love each other so much but I have absolutly no passion or desire for sex. What is wrong with me? How can I help???

I too suggest counseling. Also have you read “Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars”. I think it has a great perspective on relations between the sexes. But I have to add that I know people who disagree with its perspective. For myself I find it spot on and very helpful in understanding the basis of gender differences and friction.

that is absolutely normal after a while, and a separation can often help. i'm not sure if this will be much help but i was with my boyfriend for five years and the same thing happened, lost interest in sex and we took a break for a little while and while he was gone i realized what i was missing, things have been different ever since. good luck

also, i was just reading this article about marriages and how they sort of go comatose, and it stated that most couples felt superior about themselves and more into each other when they weren't stressing about how to make it work and having date nights and what not.

Maybe you should try some counseling to try and figure out what's messed up your desire. A pyschologist or psychiatrist could help you dig to the root of your problems.
