Very recently I’ve been put on ativan and zoloft?

the ativan doesnt do much for me, well except help me sleep. But i take the zoloft when I wake up, and I'm very sick for several hours after…. I can't eat or anything…and I lose my balance a lot, So…I stopped taking the zoloft because of that. I went ahead and took an ativan to help me sleep. (they are very low dose .5) I go back to the dr. at the end of the month. Has anyone else had these problems with zoloft, or who knows, maybe its the ativan…any ideas??

I've been on both recently, the two drugs do opposite things. One is for depression and one is for panic attacks or anxiety. I found Klonopin superior for steady releif of anxeity. There are lots of different forms of drugs that do the same thing. Maybe your bady doesn't like these, but your doc. can prescribe something else that does the same thing with superior results. You might just need to do a little trial and error.

i take zoloft but havent had any problems with it. maybe your dr can give you a different ssri.

I also think that Klonopin might be more effective for you. I tried atavan and it didnt do much for me where as Klonopin worked great.
