well, here's my case. I don't have like 85 voices in my head, i only have two. Their names are Quinn and Keith. Quinn is older than me, and Keith is the same age as me. They formed near the end of 07.
I don't know if it's Schizophrenia or MPD. I can't control them. They have taken over me before and I've done things I don't remember doing. They aren't crazy psychos, and we do communicate. We call ourselves a family.
Any ideas?

It certainly is possible that you have multiple personalities (D.I.D. dissociative identity disorder)
You mention missing time, not remembering doing things.
That is 1 symptom. Not able to control them - symptom 2,
calling you-all “we” is a 3rd symptom. That they have names
symptom #4.
Working with a psychologist is the only real way to genuinely discover what your true diagnosis is.
If there comes a time when your life is disrupted because of them, it will become necessary to find experienced treatment, as “alter's” may become suicidal or have other extreme behavior that you ordinarily wouldn't do.
While MPD is rare, it is not a terrible thing. It is, though a learned way of thinking and functioning that works for many people. Sadly, it originates in young children who are faced with traumatic experiences. Often the “alter” formed to protect you, and to hold that terrible memory away from the core person. It is not uncommon for these alters to “hide” for years, and not allow the core personality to know them. That is where the missing time comes in - when the alter is in control of you, and not allowing your core to know what is happening.

You need to consult a doctor as soon as possible, that's the only way you'll get to know what's happening and get reliable help.
