Live in denial.
Answer:
Just try not to think of the negative things, iv gone through depression, and i no what it is like, you just need to think of the things that are going right in life and think positive! everyone has there up's and down's, your not the only person that feel's depressed. Try listening to music, songs that you can relate to, and if you dont feel any better in a week or so , go to your doctor and tell him/her exactly how you feel, or of you have a close friend, or family member, talk to them and they will give you advise
Answer:
Exercise! Seriously! I had major depression for a while and my doctor prescribed me Effexor. It worked great, but I didn't want to have to depend on it forever. I took it for 9 months until I decided I wanted to wean off. I spoke to my doctor about ways I can manage my depression myself. He recommended exercise. Since then, I've been going to the gym and I feel marvelous! I feel better than I did when I was on the medication. I have so much energy now. When I start to feel stressed or depressed, I just go work out and I feel great again. It really does work. I wish I would have “discovered” this before I took any medication.
