if so what is the average width for a man?

you're supposed to measure the circumference of a penis, not the width, width means nothing.

3.5 inches is the size of a Pepsi can. I would say that's a little large. Shove a Pepsi can in your pocket. It's quite noticible. And if it's that thick it's got to be at least 9 inches long which is the equivilant to two pepsi cans stacked on top of each other. Well 7.5 inches long here and 2 inches across, and im told mine is big. so 3.5 inches across would be HUGE.. I think you measured around, and although that is a tad skinny.. it would work fine. Im 6 inches around.
