Push ups are a great work out for your chest but can become quite monotonous. There are lots of different variations of push ups such as hands close together, hand far apart, rotate your hands inside or outside, put your feet up on a sofa and so on be creative. If you just don't have weights around the home look around for things that could be used to lift. Be imaginative.
