I crack my knuckles like twice a day. And my teacher said its not good for you. Is that true?

Answer:
Well I've been cracking my knuckles since I was a kid so whatever awaits you, awaits me…

by the way, I've heard that that was a myth… there's no real evidence that cracking your knuckles causes any type of arthiritis.

Answer:
Cracking you knuckles can ultimatley lead to athritis. Thats the long term affect. Short term is that your knuckles will get really big. There is protective fluid that sits in your knuckles at the joints and when you crack them, you are shooting the fluid out

Answer:
Stop doing that i heard it causes something akin to arthritis in your knuckles

Answer:
No it is not true. It's only a release of air in the joints. No harm done.

Answer:
I do it like a billion times a day it doesn't give you anything bad its just a myth, if cracking you bones is bad why are there Chiropractors.

Answer:
I asked my anatomy professor the same thing and he said its not a big deal…its just air bubbles…I crack my fingers all the time and their fine…however if I crack my knees alot they will start to hurt..so I'm not really sure

Answer:
Yes. But if you pull your finger, Its does not harm them at all.
