my hand has been getting progresively weak, it started with my fingers falling asleep, then both of my arms would fall asleep, and it wouldnt just stay to either night or day, it would be all day and all night long. then i started not being able to do things right, gripping a pen is difficult, and writing is hard to, opening a can of applsauce is next to impossible. i wear arm braces everyday, for most of the day, i take ibprofen 200mg every six hours for the last week.. doesnt reduce anything. its still hard to close and open that ziploc bag. if there are any RN's or medical personel that could aslo help answer it would be greatly appreciated. I know go to the physician, no insurance.. go to ER.. medical bills… idk. i just am wondering if anyone has an idea what is happening to my arm. oh and its mainly my left hand, i use it to write and pretty much everything so i kinda need it to work.lol. any suggestions would be helpful.

I'm sorry you’re going through this, but like you wrote, you need to go to a physician. Nobody here’s going to be able to properly diagnose you. It may be carpal tunnel syndrome (did you do a lot of repetitive hand movement kind of work in the past?), or some other kind of neurological condition or vitamin deficiency which is correctable. Try to look for a free or low-cost clinic in your area. You may need nerve conduction tests and blood tests to find out what's going on. I wish I had a crystal ball to give you the complete answer, but sadly, I don't. Good luck to you, and please make payments to a clinic rather than continuing with this loss of function of your hands and/or arms. And if this last comment pushes you to do something, it's gonna be worth it. The cute baby photo you have here as your avatar - without getting help, you may lose the capability to pick up the baby anymore. That would be really sad. :o(
