I jammed my nail, and its blue and purple nd now i have to get a hole drilled thru it. My friend's dad is a surgeon so he will be “relieving the pressure.” I was wondering if it hurts!? I am sooo scared. But im glad a surgeon is doing it. lol PLEASE ANSWER SOON!

if you use a small, sharp drill bit (3/64 works well), and twist it between your fingers…no power tools, you’ll cut through the nail in no time, and without any pain. Let the drill cut through the fingernail by itself, don't try to push it through.

Im sure youll be alright. Many people just leave it alone and wait for the nail to fall off. Once it falls off it grows back. Kind of looks gross, but itll grow back.
