it hurts so bad when i walk on.

Answer:
Little known fact: Swelling is NOT a good sign. Put ice on it (wrap the ice in a towel or some kind of barrier between the ice and your flesh, other wise you can burn the flesh off and kill the sensory nerves around the part the ice touches) If it continues to hurt go to the ER and have someone look at it! Tylenol, Advil, any over the counter mild pain med like that can help with the pain and swelling, but see a Pro for sure! Next time, please be smart and don't do that again.

Answer:
I’m not a medical professional but being a former athlete, the first things the trainers always recommended was RICE for 24 to 48 hours.

Rest the foot

Ice the area

Compress the area - Ace bandage

Elevate the area - put your foot up higher than your heart

You can also use Ibuprofen for the pain. If the pain persists longer than 24 to 48 hours then I suggest you see a physician.

Good luck.

Answer:
Ouch !

Sounds like you landed in such a way that you pulled the tendons on one side of your ankle…The best thing that you can do right now, to minimize the damage, is to ice it..

Do you’ve a bag of frozen veggies in the freezer ? I hope so..

Wrap the veggies around a kitchen towel and hold it on the painful part for litterally at least half an hour..

If you can keep the area from swelling with cold, you've minimized the damaged and you'll be back to normal in no time…

If you ice it and in the morning you still can't walk ? You seriously need to see the physician..

Answer:
you could of sprained it or broken it get ice put it on your foot because it maybe be swelling and if the pain doesnt go away get someone to take you to the hospital

dont hop around sit down and say put it on a table cause you’ll make it worse!!!

and why did you jump of the stairs any way??

: )

Answer:
Yea, that was really smart. Well you probably twisted your ankle. take advil and see how it feels the next couple of days. if it doesnt go away or it it gets worse and swells up and stuff, just go to a doc.

tsk

Answer:
See a chiropractor, they have the ability to put things back into place and/or x-ray to rule out a fracture. I'm sure you jammed up all of the small bones in your foot, if not broke it.

Answer:
Try ice, bag off pea's if it gets worse threw out the week c the physicians

Answer:
