My physician told me that when he removes my cast I will have to wear an orthopaedic device like football players wear to solidify my food. Do you know what's he's speaking about? thanks

Don't know of any orthopedic devices that help solidify food. It is possible that your doctor meant a walking boot for a fractured foot or bone around the ankle joint.
