i have terrible sleeping problems please help
Answer:
As someone who is bit of a night-owl & suffers from Tinititus (ringing in the ears), I also have problems getting to sleep.
One way which helps me is to find a resting book to read, using a low-wattage light (a LED flash light is adequate) & turning on some talkback radio (at a lowish volume, purely for background noise) - with the distractions I find it easier to get to sleep.
Either that, or fall asleep listening to the lifestyle channel on cable Television - listening to people talking about antiques & home removation is somewhat relaxing.
Or do some hard exercise during the day - a few weekends ago, I went for a really long ( 7 hours) bike-ride & slept like a baby that night.
Just find what works for you.
Answer:
I have problems sleeping a lot of times because my mind is running like crazy thinking thinking thinking. I try and exercise before bed or do something that makes me really fatigued. I also find that music helps to calm me before bed also. Also I suggest going to the library and checking some books on sleeping disorders and maybe they could give you tips also. Good luck and hope you get a good nights sleep soon.
Answer:
i have a friend who states ” find a sound - keyboard note, radio static… - that lets you actually turn your brain off “. some sleep disorders are caused by an over active conscience. if you can find something to “tune you out”, you can rest. the g note on a keyboard worked for me.
