I’ve calf strains in both legs. i bought some compression wraps and they help out A LOT!!! how long do i need to wear them before I try and run without them?
Answer:
you need to wear the wraps for as long as the pain that you feel is tolerable, that’s, about below 5 out of a 10. usually it takes two weeks for the pain of the strain to subside to below 5/10 intensity. try doing some gentle stretching as well for 15-20 seconds hold at the end-range and repeat for 10 reps. try doing some light jogging at first and dont do the actual running until you’re sure you are pain-free or at least having below than 5/10 pain.
