I can’t sleep?

Author: admin

I haven't been able to sleep for about a week now. At school all my friends think that I'm really depressed, and I can't focus on my work at all. Reading doesn't help, I've been on Answer's hoping it will do something, and listening to my music doesn't help at all either. Any suggestions? I don't like taking sleeping pills and I don't have any anyways.

Answer:
You are stressed and need to talk you emotions out with someone that will listen. At times I cannot sleep too and I hate taking pills for it. I end up praying myself to sleep which seems to work on some days. If you’re not in to the God thing then try to think happy thoughts and only think of one thing that doesn’t require much thought. Like being at the beach getting a tan and enjoying the sound of the birds. Don’t think anymore. If you do it will wander and you will be back at square one. Thinking and not sleeping.

On days it is bad like today, I take one tablet of Tylenol PM or Advil pm. It isn’t even the full dosage for and adult but helps me relax a little. I am very careful about taking pills and am very against it. I only take it when I struggle and know i need rest for the coming day.

I hope that helps.

Answer:
Could you be stressed..? It could be because your stressed about something. If you are interested in sleeping pills i take sleep aid its cheap and you can get it at any store, its also non-habit forming.

Answer:
Is there something in particular going on in your life that would be causing you to lose sleep? Try exercising about 3 hrs before bedtime. Don't eat anything late or drink anything too late. But one thing that might be allowed would be a small glass of warm milk (only works if it's warm) or about an ounce of turkey meat. The scent of lavender is known to help with sleep also. When I'm having trouble, I lay on my back, with my pillow comfortably in place and take deep breaths—in thru my nose, out thru the mouth. Make sure your mind is clear of everything and focus on your breathing. Puts me out like a light.

Answer:
glass of warm milk? thats the only thing i can think of. sleeping pills really help.

Melatonin is a naturally occuring substance. it's secreted by the pineal gland in your brain. it's not unhealthy or unnatural… i think it might occur in plants… but i'm probably getting that mixed up with something else soooo, ignore that.

Answer:
I'm sorry to hear you haven't been able to sleep; when I was depressed (not saying you are) I went through stages like that in middle school and I know what you mean about not being able to concentrate.

What i used to do to help,

I don't know if it will for you

but do something relaxing,

like drink warm tea or warmed up milk

well..actually i have a question before i answer yours.

is it an unsettling, frustrating, rolling around can't settle down and relax, not tired at all??

or is it more like ur so tired and feel it but you just can't fall asleep?

——–

alright then,

well if you dont drink milk try a warm cup of tea?

do you like tea?

so you are tired and still can't sleep.

it helps to make your mind drift off and really relax,

don't think of other stuff

and find a comfortable position,

and as stupid as this may sound me being 17 counting sheep actually helps haha

maybe not "sheeps"

but tell yourself to count to 200

and see if ur still awake,

and i never stay up until I get to 200.

also MAYBE sleeping somewhere else for a night, see if it helps.

sometimes i just cant sleep in my bed but knock out to sleep in my big living room

if these seem nothing close to a solution,

fixing your day could help too.

are you stressed or really bothered by anything?

i know you said u rnt interested

but sleeping pills, natural ones

really will help, just make sure you don't get addicted
