I just got my cartilage pierced on tuesday, and it didnt hurt that bad, but I slept on it (I rolled over onto it while I was sleeping). As of 2 days after the piercing, it was red and started to hurt. Now, 4 days later, it is very red, and pretty swollen.
It hurts really bad and is throbbing. Its a bit warm to the touch. There isnt any puss coming out though.
please, im begging you, help me out.
it was professionally done and I clean it ALOT with peroxide
Answer:
DON'T USE PEROXIDE! Trust me, it'll make things worse. Try to clean it with a cotton ball soaked in a salt-water solution. If that doesn't help, see the doc.
Answer:
It sounds as if it's infected esp. if it's warm to the touch. You need to go to go to the doctor and get some antibiotics.
Answer:
take oyt the piercing.. apply an ice pack & don not piece that anymore
Answer:
Don't use peroxide–use the actual cleaner they gave you (or can buy at the store). Since it's sensitive to touch and warm is infected, you need to take it out and see a doctor if it doesn't get better.
Answer:
