i dont know if i spelled it right but anyway what causes styes to form on your eyelids? i mean i get them all the time but what causes it?
Answer:
Talking from experience my doctor told me from lots of wear from contacts also certain eye creams and old make-up. We have many thousands of oil glands around our eye lids that at times clog up warm water compress at least three times a day help alot. I know I've had three surgically removed ! YIKES!!!

It is an in fection of a tear duct which then causes a blockage.
