Answer:
Look. Is what you are taking doing anything?? Your taking 2.5 now 4 times a day as opposed to your prescribed 5mg 3 times a day. What you did is cut the dose in half. If it is working, do not increase it. I mean man, the next day your lucky if you have 5Mg's of methadone in you total. Did the doc say anything about starting you out on the 5mg three times a day and than increasing it? If it doesn't work?I am sorry but this question is really up to him, as most are. However this is especially. Again it seems like you are getting yourself incredibly irate over this dilemma, pain meds, anxiety. I mean can I make a suggestion, don't think about it so hard. Just go with what they prescribed you. 5mg's a day three times a day. I told you in my opinion this is the ideal dosage starting. I wish my doctor did that to me. I had to learn the hard way. If your gonna deviate from stuff. listen to what your body is telling you. You cut the dose because of anxiety, right? Did it subside, is your pain tolerable. If you still have anxiety it wasn't the meth, if you don't have anxiety now, you might get it again as soon as you upo the meth, give it a week or so.
It seems like your really having a hard time coping with these changes, it should not be that difficult. You must see your doctor.
Answer:
yes take as prescribed
Answer:
Yes it will be okay to start taking as prescribed. You have your own reasons for not starting that way so I would suggest that in the morning you just start taking it the way it was prescribed for you. The call in's that you make to your Dr office will be noted in your file so you may have to explain yourself to your Dr and the fact that you did start taking them as prescribed so that he does not think you need the lower dose and prescribe only that.
