Visine burns my eyes?

Author: admin

I purchased visine for allergies because I have a slight allergy to my puppy and one of my cats (ironically they're both short haired, and my other cat who I'm fine with is long hair is that possible?) my eyes will get watery and get itchy so I use it. It works well but it burned last time I put it in and I'm scared to do it again it's not expired it expires is 2012. I did shut my eyes right after it droped in and I was wearing a lot of makeup I’ve an intense purple smokey eye so there was liner on my top and bottom waterline do you think it's because of that?

Answer:
Did you shake the bottle first? Maybe it was just a bit concentrated when you dripped it in?

Animal hair is different when they are puppies and kittens so apparently you can be allergic to hair when they’re babies but fine when they get their adult coat in.

You can be bothered by short hair and not long, I forgot why though. I think it's something to do with how often they shed.

Answer:
It's possible to be allergic to cats but be allergic to one of your cats and not the other. It has to do with their dander. Cats are all different.

You should not put Visine in your eyes with make-up on. That will injured a lot! Also, Visine isn't the ideal eye drop for allergies. It contains a lot of preservatives which can make matters worse. There is a medicine called Patinol that’s only available with a prescription but it's worth it. There’s also eye drops called Similasan that is the same price as Visine and it's natural. I saw an allergy Similasan at Safeway last time I went. Just check your grocery store.

Answer:
yeah. you should try doing it again but without all the other stuff.. then if it happens again then maybe your eye is just really sensitive.
