i just started using a neutrogena medication but it dries out my skin too bad and i think i might just stop. is it a good idea to switch to another acne medication or will that only make my acne worse????
Answer:
No, because every acne medication will have the same affect. The reason that acne medication dries out the skin is because oil is the reason for your breakouts. If you find your skin is peeling that’s what it is supposed to do to prevent any scarring. I know its tough right now, but soon you will see the positive affects, and then you can go onto a less medicated face cleanser. In the mean time, just use another moisturizer ontop of your acne cream but make sure its dry first!
Good luck
Answer:
Use proactive its got a lotion u can use when your face is dry and it really works!!!!! Report Abuse
Answer:
Hello. I would not stop just using it. Instead of doing that i worked in a aged care place and they always said to us when you put things on a person just slowly cut them down on there cream not to cut it straight off as the skin isn’t use to it. I am not sure if that will be any help but it is worth a thought. Take care and good luck…
Answer:
dilute some drops of lavander oil in a bit of milk and combine this with a bowl of warm water and use a face cloth and wash your face with it, then useing the same water use a face wash. this will draw out impurities without drying out your face. do this as often as you like.
