I'm pretty sure the matrix of my nail has became damaged. Over a month ago, I stubbed my toe against a rack, causing the nail to rip apart form the nail bed, but not completely off. A lot of blood flowed from underneath my toenail. and now my toe is yellowish, brownish and a tiny reddish too. And its not growing! I clip my other nails but that one never seems to need to be clipped. Also the cuticle around that nail is very dry looking. What will happen to it?? its not growing ![]()
Answer:
One of my fathers friends had that happen to him before and he went to the doctor and he said that it would just take a few months beacuase a new nail was trying to grow underneath the dead one!
No Prob!
Answer:
it may eventually fall off. if your the kind of person to kinda cut into things yourself like i am.. i would try to remove as much of the damaged part as i could in hopes that getting rid of the bad will help it grow.
Answer:
your just gonna have to wait until it falls off. i have the same problem…im thinking about going to a nail place and getting a peticure and see what they state once they see my nail.
