I’ve a poison ivy bush near my house steps that i accidently brushed against about 2 days ago. i started to get red rashes on my hands/arms and now there is a mild reaction to it with little spots/rashes where stuff comes out; i have been trying to cover up the sores with bandaids but they keep falling off and i dont have money right now to purchase gauze pads/etc. should i stop by my medical center to get them properly bandaged? would they even take care of it? maybe if i go there, they'll just tell me to go away and wait til it goes away on its own-i dont want to seem stupid. its mild, but it looks terrible and stuff keep coming out on all of the tiny spots….sheesh. my father said dont rub them cuz i could get an infection. i am a young adult and i live by myself.

I agree, I think you should get it checked out. My brother got poison ivy a few times, but the last time he had an allergic reaction and his face swelled. He had to take pills and it took a day for the swelling to go down and a week for it to go away. If you have sores that now have stuff coming out of it, you should definitely have it checked out.
