I got one shot of phenegran for nausea and one shot of bentyl on the same side when I was in the hospital 2 weeks ago. Where I had the shots, it still hurts really bad and burns in my butt muscle as if I've got like a sunburn. Sometimes, it itches really bad, too. What could this be? It happened 2 weeks ago!!!
Answer:
It could be that the serum of the medication is thick & remained around the injection site…making it more painful. It could be the mixture of the 2 or an allergic reaction.
Try Benedryl topical spray, it works really well. Use Neosporin or Bacitracin anti-biotic ointment on the spot.Take Aleve or Advil to reduce any swelling & inflammation.
Call your MD & ask him what it could be, he might want to see it.
Good luck
Answer:
You need to see the doctor about that, it might be an allergic reaction to the meds. And dont go to the hospital to see a doc whos going to precribe you tylenol. Go to your family doctor.
Answer:
you prolly are having an allergic reaction…you could take some benedryl but id still go c your doctor.
