Ok I went to the doctor this morning and he said I had an upper respiratory infection and he gave me an antibiotic shot and also called in some antibiotic pills, nasonex, and cough syrup. Well I didn't think about it and as soon as I got home I took all my medicine. He didn't tell me & I didn't think to ask him or the pharmacist, but will that hurt me? Was I supposed to take my antibiotics today even though I got the shot?? Was I supposed to wait until tomorrow to take my pills? I forgot all about the shot until about an hour or 2 after I took my medicine… thanks for all the answers!

You probably should have waited, but it wont hurt you, or do any damage.

Tomorrow make sure you follow the prescription. Be sure that you finish the entire course. Ending early helps to create resistant bugs.
