If you've been working out with heavy weights? How long does it take for you to actually see the mass building in your muscles? Thanks so much.

Answer:
for some years depending on genetics. I was able to go from 135 lbs to 175 lbs in one summer. I ate like a horse, made sure I ate at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, and I used Mike Mentzer High Intensity training routines (AKA heavy duty).

Here’s a youtube clip of one of the routines. clip is kinda boring, but gets the point across

Now here’s my whey protein schedule

Right out of bed 50 gram shake/smoothie
Immediately after workout 50 gram shake/smoothie
Right before bed 50 gram shake/smoothie

Then sometimes if I wake up in the middle of the night, I’ll go to the kitchen and have another 50 gram shake/smoothie.

This blows up recovery and puts the mass on quick!

Here is a WICKED gainer smoothie video

Answer:
If you hadn't been working out at all before, then there’s usually a 10-pound gain of muscle mass within the first few months (assuming you are doing a typical MWF workout with cardio on the days in between).

After this initial gain, it obviously becomes more difficult to force more gains, which is why you have to keep at it and increase the weight you're lifting in order to further your results.

Answer:
You will notice some in a week, but not building mass. You will first feel firmness and tightness. Mass will come with proper diet as well. Be sure you are getting enough protein. In a month, you will actuall notice mass begin to form if you stay with it.

Good luck!

Answer:
I usually feel better after abut 3 days, that's the normal time it takes for your muscles to recover. I normally see results after about a week and a half of working out 3 times a week.

Answer:
not really an answer, more of a question….have you jacked up your caloric intake to go with all that heavy lifting? If not, you'll never see results. You must feed your muscles!

Answer:
a month about
