i have heard people telling me that if i overdo muscle training at my age (14) i will stay 5,5 forever. i do 5 sets of 15 biceps curls (15lb) every 2 or 3 days. and on the other days i work my abs and triceps, and back and shoulders. is this unhealthy? will i stay a shorty?

TY

Answer:
It's if you lift very heavy weights when you haven't really got into puberty yet (like if you arleady are well into puberty, you're fine), usually under 13. Then it might, but usually won't, stunt your growth a little bit.

Also, you have legs, train them. Next time you go to the gym, find the kid that only trains upper body, then you'll see how silly he looks with a big upper body on chicken legs.

Answer:
Just dont overdue. i also occasionally lift weights also and im only 13. im 5' 2″.

Answer:
As long as you're not really hitting it hard you're just casually lifting/ working out you should be fine.

Answer:
the weight bench training has been proven to stop growth so just wait until you’re older
