Yes.
Basically, the human body can't reduce fat from one place at one time. So, running is probably one of the best exercises designed to lose fat in all places.
This is b/c the human body was designed to walk. And while your burning calories, you also sweat off baby fat. Which could amount for some of your stomach fat. You should see results. Althought I can't tell you how quicky. Maybe you should do some ab crunches with it.
Oh, and you won't see much of a result if you eat unhealthy. Cuz it all will go back to the tummy =/

Yes, technically. You can't select where fat is reduced from, but losing weight will take it from everywhere. The “toning” that people talk about is just making the muscles more defined under the fat layer. If the fat layer is too thick you can't see the tone of the muscles. Sorry, was that a tangent?
