Am I not normal?

I'm 16 years old and I haven't eaten any kind of fruit since 3 years ago. (Literally, i am not joking. I don't really like fruit. Last time I had one was when I was 13) Could that be the reason why my brain doesnt function well in summer school classes and i'm short? (5'6 3./4). I eat chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk each other morning (the other mornings I don't eat at all) before I go to summer school (which is 7 hours) because my mother is too busy to make me breakfast, I can't drive yet to the supermarket, there's literally nothing in the home to make, and I can't cook anyways. Am I not normal? I feel bad for myself.

It's unhealthy to skip a food group, especially fruits and vegetables. Do you eat vegetables?

It's very important to have a balanced diet to be healthy.

You need grains (such as bread, rice, cereal) as well as fruits, vegetables, dairy (milk, cheese, eggs) and proteins (tofu, meats, nuts, etc).

You should take a class in nutrition, or read some books at the library.

A cookie for breakfast each day is superior than no breakfast, but it's not ideal.

You also need to get fresh air and excercise.

If you dont like fruit, you should try V8 drinks. A lot of ppl dont like V8 becuase they think of tomatoe juice, which i dont like either, but they’ve the new V8 fusions that have one full serving of fruit and veggies in each serving. If you dont like stuff like that then you should just force yourself to eat fruit once in a while at least. Your body needs it. And the reason your prbly having trouble in school is becuase of no breakfast or bad breakfast. Try a muffin or something. But good job on the milk =)

is that all you eat? cookies in the morning? because if you eat the other two meals your still ok. tell your mom to go to the store and purchase you breakfast or any other meals if you don't get them because that's not fair to you. i never eat breakfast but everyone thinks i'm weird. you could always try to walk to the store if it's in walking distance. eating fruit definately helps you grow and function but i never eat fruit either and i grew taller than i was supposed to be so who knows.

well u need to eat a breakfast. its not healthy to go without breakfast. thats wat gives u all ur energy and helps ur brain function. but chocolate chip cookies for breakfast isnt good. and u should deffiantely eat fruit. its good for you. even if u dont like fruit. u need to eat it. its all part of the health pyramid.
