Is this an okay diet?

Need to lose some pounds but I dont really have a lot of food to work with here.

For breakfast I eat half of an egg white omelet and save the rest for lunch. The egg white omelet has some oven roasted turkey, onions and tomatoes cooked with extra virgin olive oil.

For lunch I have a sandwich thats made with: 3 slices of wheat bread, 3 slices of tomatoes, 4 pickles, 3 slices of oven roasted turkey, and a bit of mustard.

As a snack I'll finish up the egg white omelet from breakfast with rice.

I usually prep another Sandwich for dinner as well.

I also eat some fruits occasionally throughout the day such as: strawberries, banana's, apples and some grapes.

I'm about 5 ft. 8in and weigh around 158 pounds if that helps.

Also I work out for about an hour and 45min 3-5 days a week.

Well, it's an “okay” diet but not a “great” diet. You seem to be aware of eating nutritious foods and that's good. Deli meat shouldn't be your main source of protein as it's high in sodium, etc. I would add lean protein in the form of a chicken breast, a piece of fish, a can of tuna, some beans, etc. Definitely add more vegetables. What happened to low-fat dairy, such as skim milk? Be sure to measure your olive oil and limit yourself to 2 teaspoons a day. Are you making brown rice and is the bread WHOLE grain, instead of just wheat? I wouldn't limit the sandwich to once a day instead of twice…Good job with the fruits and exercise. Are you drinking plenty of water?

I have tried so many different diets over the years and nothing seemed to work. I did a lot of research and this site is the only thing that I’ve found that has helped me not only lose weight but control my weight.

i would replace the sandwich with a salad or something. white bread isn't good for loosing weight because white bread usually contains bleach and a lot of carbs. if you have to have a sandwich eat it with low carb wheat bread.

if you are a girl, great- you're on your way to being aneroxic… if you are a guy, great- you're own your way or past your way of being gay… either way your “special diet” isn't good. i think you should revise it… (as in adding more food and caloric intake).
