Is it alright to cheat on your diet occasionally? Like if you’ve no other choice but to eat-out or to eat something because thats the only thing you’ve or even to eat your favorite food because you just… wanna =D. Im on a pretty good diet and exercise plan and I do disipline (sp?) myself a lot on the food area because diet is… what around 90% of lossing weight combined with the other 10% of exercise. So when I want to just relax and maybe go out to eat with friends is it ok? (And when I mean OK I mean… like when I do eat something like that Im worried that it would be hard to get rid of thoes calories and go back to the way I was - I had kinda a rough childhood) By the way I just turned 17 and since I started my diet and exercise i went from 180 to 150 and hovering there looking to get rid of what tiny belly fat I’ve you know…

Answer:
Totally. Each once in a while you need to “bend it” that way you don't feel tempted to break it all the time. But make sure you do it in moderation and when you do “cheat” go straight back on your diet, maybe do a tiny extra exercise that night or the next day. Great job on losing weight. A lot of people make the mistake of cheating on their diet, saying they screwed up and give up. That’s a huge mistake. When you eat out, there are a lot of places that have “healthy choice” meals and if you don't see it on the menu, ask the waiter/waitress.If you do indulge in desert, eat less than you normally would. If you're at a birthday party and that cake is really inviting, ask for a small piece and stick with that, skip the chips and dip, etc.

Answer:
It depends how often and how good your normal eating plan is! If its only every other week you break off and have a takeaway that’s fine. As long as its not every other night, that is when you will start to put the weight back on, and i know this isn't a favorite but if you want to get rid of your beer belly than doing a tiny bit more exercise, start walking fast every day doing a few sit-ups will help a lot as well! Hope that helps.

Answer:
its ok to eat your favorite food once in a while, but dont over do it and dont do it too often..when you go out try to pick healthy foods on the menu and not something bad just cuz you can or else your not really helping your weight loss…but indulging in your favorite food every once in a while isn’t a bad thing..remmeber, dont eat too much of it though!

Answer:
i don't think one time is a problem but don't make it a habit and stick to small meals… if you do decide to go out and eat.

Answer:
i comprehend your doubts and i would say Yes,once every 7 or 10 days its ok to have a cheat meal…in my case i dont need cheat meals as i portion control my food…i dont believe in diets..i workout a lot too

Answer:
I do 1 cheat meal day a week… I cheat 2-3 times in that day and pretty much feel horrible afterwards but after that day is over there’s no more cheating tell the next week.

it's not only ok to do that, professionally i think it's important to do that. food, no matter what issues we have w/it, is made to be enjoyed. if you always feel like you have to “good” then you set yourself to binge.

if saturday night you want to go eat pizza w/your friends go for it. just make sure sunday morning you're back following your usual eating plan, don't make it an each night or even an every other night thing. knowing you can “treat” yourself once a week will allow you to stay more disciplined throughout the rest of the week.

Answer:
actually yes. i have heard that by changing up your diet once in a while can lead to positive results. like if i eat ice cream and cake and a bag of chips with a bag of m&m's (lol) my body will be working hard to burn all those calories! and the next day i eat around 500 calories or w/e my body will have worked so hard before to burn so many calories. it will do the same the next day, being used to the pattern yesterday. so your body will burn the 500 and way extra.

lol sorry if that made no sense haha but . . .

there are diets based on this hypothosis so…
